Marketing Manager Mary Curran-Hackett is the Marketing Manager for the Xavier Leadership Center, and brings with her, more than nineteen years experience in writing, editing, teaching, and project management. Prior to her work with XLC, Mary was a book editor for nine years at Franciscan Media, where she edited, proofed, and promoted hundreds of books. She also served concurrently as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati, where she taught rhetoric and persuasive writing, as well as several literature and drama courses. Earlier in her career, Mary worked as a corporate writer for a fortune five-hundred company in Danbury, CT. Mary is an author and has two novels published with William Morrow/HarperCollins Publishers, New York, NY. She holds a Masters Degree in English Literature from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and an Bachelors Degree in English Literature and the University Honors Program (Humanities) from the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. Currently, Mary writes, edits, and produces XLC's blogs, articles, emails, catalogs, and brochures. She also maintains XLC's social media and website content, and supports the XLC team with their marketing, sales, and branding efforts.
