Barry Joffe is a coach for the Xavier Leadership Center and has extensive experience in career consulting, executive recruiting and human resource management. Part of Barry’s focus over the last 13 years has been in career transition consulting – providing coaching services to separated employees displaced through a business change.
He has counseled a broad range of individuals from senior executives to individual contributing professionals and operations personnel and has delivered a variety of career planning workshops. His familiarity with a broad range of organization structures, industry sectors and disciplines provide a solid platform from which to deliver career coaching. He has also authored several articles on career issues.

Barry was Career Transition Practice Leader for the Blue Harbor Group, an organization development and career transition consulting firm, part of Career Partners International and spent 8 and half years with DBM Inc., a global career transition and outplacement consulting firm where he served as Managing Consultant for the Cincinnati market and District Managing Consultant for two separate five-location multi-state districts. Prior to DBM, Barry was Director of Executive Search Consulting for a Bason Associates Inc. a retained executive search firm. His earlier background includes senior level generalist human resources roles in the public sector. Barry received his BSS (Honors) and MA degrees in sociology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Bar Ilan University, Israel.
