Innovation: Creating the Culture focuses on the leader’s role in energizing and enabling the innovation process within an organization. We will explore innovation best practices from PDMA’s Outstanding Corporate Innovator program1 and help you assess your organization’s “Innovation Quotient.” We will also share the latest research in maximizing individual and team innovation effectiveness.

This program develops strategies to create and maintain organizational space for innovation across four key dimensions: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. You will learn specific leadership behaviors that hinder or promote breakthrough-thinking.
This workshop provides tools for each stage of the Creative Problem Solving process – Problem Definition, Ideation and Action Planning. You will have an opportunity to practice these tools against your top innovation leadership challenges, and you will leave with a concrete action plan to strengthen your organization’s innovation capability.
This program is only eligible for those who have already attended Innovation: Proven Methods and Innovation: Maximizing Team Effectiveness. It is specifically for leaders of others who are interested in guiding their teams through the creative problem solving process on complex business challenges.

Dr. Fisher is a full-time creativity consultant and innovation facilitator for Xavier Leadership Center. Wayne has created a series of popular innovation workshops focused on new product development, training thousands of managers across P&G’s diverse business units and regions. These workshops and related tools provide a common language and framework for innovation, fostering collaboration across the globe. Wayne is also active in the Product Development and Management Association, where he serves on the Outstanding Corporate Innovator selection committee. Wayne received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and has been granted 16 U.S. patents. His expertise includes New Product Development, Creative Problem Solving, Technical Problem Solving (TRIZ), Design Thinking, and Team Facilitation.
