In each of the 5 key areas of emotional intelligence, you will view a brief video providing you a definition and quick examples of strong and weak behaviors and then you will complete an accompanying self-evaluation form. This tool is meant to allow you an opportunity for honest reflection and goal setting. Rest assured this form will not be shared and it is for your personal use.
1. Click here to download the Emotional Intelligence Self-Evaluation form. You will land on a page with a link to click to complete the pdf form. Click the link and save the form to your computer. You will reopen this document, update it and save it for each session.
3. Check your email for the appropriate password to enter when clicking on the video links (below).
4. Please play the video link (in order as they appear) and pause (when prompted) and go to the Emotional Intelligence Self-Evaluation writable PDF and give yourself a rating.
5. Go back to the video to play Tips on Improving that area and then return to the PDF to list your own personal goals going forward.
The combined time to complete the video session and Emotional Intelligence Self-Evaluation form should take no longer than 10 minutes for each topic area.
This is not a race. To fully immerse the concept of each area into your day, if possible, we recommend that you only focus on one different aspect of emotional intelligence each day for five consecutive days. While you could complete the entire form in one sitting, taking your time with each concept and skill is highly recommended for a deeper personal experience.
