XLC’s Train-the-Trainer provided great insight for me on how to properly start a group activity, because this is where most facilitators tend to lose control of their classroom. Being able to properly begin a group activity without losing control is a great skill to have.
How are XLC’s program different than other training programs you have taken part in?
In Xavier Leadership Center programs, the majority of the course content is driven from the participants, and there isn’t a run of the mill PowerPoint. This allows for the conversation to specifically pertain to the participants in the room and for each person to fully grasp how the content can help them and their organization specifically.
Describe what your position entails.
As a Division HR Field Trainer for The Kroger Company, it is important for me to fully understand how to correctly train colleagues. My position is to teach people in my company how to lead and train, and if I’m not properly trained myself, I could potentially hurt my organization. With the knowledge I have gained from XLC’s Train-the-Trainer program, I am confident in my facilitation skills.
