The Xavier University Williams College of Business, Department of Criminal Justice and the Xavier Leadership Center have partnered to create a Public Sector Leader Certificate Program (PSLCP). The Public Sector Leader Certificate Program is designed for leaders in law enforcement, public safety and city management seeking to provide their leaders with the knowledge, skills and tools required to successfully lead their organizations. It helps fill business knowledge gaps including critical thinking, change management, strategic planning and personnel management. The program provides a core set of modules that are taken with others who are working in public sector positions. Participants customize their program to their specific needs by taking Xavier Leadership Center Corporate University programs. The PSLCP is designed to strengthen their understanding of their role as leaders who influence others and create a supportive culture that provides the direction employees need to meet organizational goals, thus strengthening their communities.
