The Public Sector Leadership Certificate (PSLC) is designed for emerging leaders in law enforcement, public safety, city, state and county government, and any public sector organization to develop the knowledge and tools required to successfully manage and lead in organizations.
Participants learn how to apply their skills working with others in day-to-day operations and long-term visioning where decision-making, critical thinking, communication, coaching and mentoring, emotional intelligence, and other professional skills are required. This skills toolbox is especially helpful during high- stress situations, environmental crises, political meetings, and when working with customers.

The PSLC is designed to increase understanding of your strengths and create professional development opportunities to build a successful culture, achieve organizational goals, and strengthen communities. This cohort style program provides a platform for peer-to-peer learning. The core curriculum enhances your leadership effectiveness through development of authentic and sustainable leadership, the ability to influence others, a public sector focused business acumen tool kit, and effective coaching and mentoring to develop others.

Module 7 & 8: The Path Forward; Change Leadership and Developing Your Sustainable Leadership Project Plan
In this session, you will explore change leadership skills and capture the skills, insights, and transformations made throughout the program. This facilitator led exercise enables you to build a project plan to make a change or innovation in your individual work, your department, or within the organization.
Xavier Leadership Center is proud to offer each participant a digital badge in Public Sector Leadership once you have met program completion criteria. Digital badges include a direct link to view program credentials and can be utilized by participants on social media and digital resumes.
